Three Branches of US Government: Legislative, Executive, and Judicial.

Legislative and Executive branches allows US Citizens to vote for individuals to represent us. The Judicial branch is typically appointed. 

The most important branch is the legislative also known as Congress, as they make and can change laws that the President has to execute and the Courts have to interpret.
